Thursday, September 18 - Departure from Chicago to Cape Town
Today we depart from Chicago to Cape Town. Enjoy on-board meals and entertainment while we cross the Atlantic Ocean as our journey to South Africa begins.
Friday, September 19 - Cape Town
We arrive to Cape Town International Airport and will be met our English-speaking Guide who will escort us to our coach. Transfer to our hotel in Cape Town. The rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening enjoy a Welcome Dinner. Overnight - Cape Town (D)
Saturday, September 20 - Cape Town - Cape Peninsula - Cape Town
After breakfast we drive along the Atlantic Ocean to Clifton, Bantry Bay and Camps Bay. We will stop for pictures in Hout Bay, followed by a cruise to Seal Island. Visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, called Cape Point, where the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans meet. Enjoy a spectacular view over the wide-open sea. We drive back to Cape Town via Muizenberg, Fishhoek, Simons Town and Rondebosch. We stop for a visit to the famous Kirstensbosch Botanical Gardens before returning to our hotel. Sunday, September 21 - Cape Town - Stellenbosch - Wine-land - Cape Town
After breakfast we depart for a tour of Stellenbosch and the Wine-land. Stellenbosch is a historical university town and the second oldest settlement in South Africa, situated in the heart of South Africa’s Wine-land. Old Oak trees, water channels, which still run alongside the roads, characterize this town. Many of the town's buildings were built in the Cape-Dutch architecture style. We will now drive to a wine cellar for a short tour and enjoy wine tasting of local wineries. Buffet lunch at the Wine-land is included. Dinner this evening is on your own. Monday, September 22 - Free day in Cape Town
Breakfast in hotel. This entire day is free for rest or optional activities in Cape Town. Explore the waterfront, museums and Table Mountain on your own. Dinner this evening is on your own.

Tuesday, September 23 - Cape Town – Flight to Johannesburg - Tour Pretoria - Soweto
Breakfast in hotel. This morning we transfer to Cape Town Airport and fly to Johannesburg. We will be met by an English speaking guide and board our coach for a tour of Pretoria. Visit the Kruger House and the Voortrekker Monument. Upon returning to Johannesburg we will visit the famous township of Soweto, formerly the home of Nelson and Winnie Mandela, by vans. Dinner tonight is on your own. Overnight - Johannesburg (B)
Wednesday, September 24 - Johannesburg – Kruger National Park
After breakfast we begin our excursion to the Kruger National Park with a stop at the Shangaan Cultural Village with an authentic African Folklore. Upon arrival to Kruger Park we will check in to our chalet bungalows, located at Skukuza Rest Camp inside the Kruger National Park. The afternoon is at leisure. In the evening enjoy a Boma Dinner, (open fire barbecue), followed by an unforgettable night Safari with a professional Game Ranger.

Thursday, September 25 - Kruger National Park
After breakfast enjoy a Morning and Afternoon Safari with a professional game Ranger. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Lunch is included today. In the evening we will have another Boma dinner. Overnight – Skukuza Rest Camp at Kruger Park (B/L/D)
Friday, September 26 - God's Windows - MacMac Falls - Pilgrim's Rest - Robert's Pass – Mpumalanga, (Eastern Transvaal)
After breakfast we leave Kruger National Park and drive to God's Windows for a breathtaking view, followed by a visit to MacMac Falls. From here we continue to Pilgrim's Rest, a perfect replica of a 19th century gold rush town. We then continue to Robber’s Pass and end the day at our hotel.

Saturday, September 27 - Drive to Johannesburg - Free - Farewell Dinner
After breakfast we drive back to Johannesburg and check in to our hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure or optional activities on your own. In the evening we will have our Farewell Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight - Johannesburg (B/D)
Sunday, September 28 - Flight home
Our flight back home will depart Johannesburg this evening.
Monday, September 29 - Arrive home
Today we arrive home with fond memories of our exciting & unique tour of South Africa
