MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1
DEPARTURE TO ISRAEL
Today we depart from Chicago's O'Hare Airport to Israel. Enjoy on-board meals and entertainment as we cross the Atlantic Ocean on our way to Israel.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2
ARRIVE IN ISRAEL/JAFFA/NETANYA
Arrive in Israel. Meet a representative who will assist you through customs. Meet your guide and proceed for a short tour of Jaffa. From here we drive to our hotel, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3
CAESAREA/MT. CARMEL/MEGIDDO/NAZARETH VILLAGE/CANA/ZIPHORIES/GALILEE
After breakfast we travel to Caesarea. Caesarea is a Crusader and Roman city, which was protected by stout walls and projecting bastions within a deep moat. View the monumental Roman Theater built in the days of Christ. From here we travel to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah held a contest against the false prophets of Baal. Next, travel to Megiddo, overlooking the plains of Armageddon and visit the site of the 21 superimposed cities. A short drive takes us to Nazareth where Jesus spent the silent years of his life. We will have a unique experience at the Nazareth Village. The Nazareth Village brings to life a farm and Galilean village, recreating Nazareth as it was 2,000 years ago. Next we visit Cana, the site of the first miracle where Jesus changed water to wine. A short drive from here is the Biblical site of Ziphoris and then to our hotel by the Sea of Galilee.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4
MT. BEATITUDES/TABGHA/CAPERNAUM/BOAT RIDE-FISH LUNCH/OPTIONAL BAPTISMAL
After breakfast we drive to Mt. Beatitudes. Near here Jesus gave the Beatitudes and taught on many occasions. Here he also performed many of the miracles. Travel to Tabgha, where 5000 were fed by Jesus who performed the miracle of the multiplication of the fish and loaves. Continue to Capernaum where much of the Galilean Ministry took place. Afterwards, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and hear how Jesus calmed the stormy sea and walked upon these waters. Enjoy a traditional St. Peter’s fish lunch. From here we drive to Yardenit Baptismal site on the Jordan River, where time will be available for an optional Baptismal Service. We will end the day with a view of an ancient boat, believed to be from Jesus times. This evening enjoy a special Fellowship in our hotel.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5
TRANSFER TO BORDER/CROSS TO JORDAN/
Early breakfast in hotel. We will drive to Sheik Hussein Bridge and cross the border into Jordan. Meet our Jordanian guide and bus and drive to Jerash. Jerash is located 48 km north of Amman and nestled in a quiet valley among the mountains of Gilead, is the grandeur of Imperial Rome being one of the largest and most well preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World outside Italy. From here we drive to Madaba,
“The city of Mosaics”, known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, Madaba is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Our next stop is at Mt. Nebo, believed to be the site where Moses was given a view of the promised land that God was giving to the Jews. According to Jewish and Christian tradition, Moses was buried on this mountain by God Himself, and his final resting place is unknown. A short drive from here is Petra, a city carved in red rock.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6
TOUR OF PETRA/ARAVA CROSSING/EILAT
Breakfast in hotel. Meet your guide and private coach and drive to the ancient city of Petra. Enter Petra for a guided tour of this fascinating Nabatean city, carved in red rocks followed by lunch. From here we drive along the King’s Highway to the Arava Crossing near Eilat. We cross the border and meet our Israeli guide and driver. A short drive from here is the Israeli city of Eilat, located by the Red Sea.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7
TOUR EILAT/TIMNA PARK/DEAD SEA
After breakfast we will visit the underwater Observatory in Eilat and then drive to Timna Park to view a life-size replica of the biblical tabernacle that has been constructed here based upon Biblical description. From here we drive along the Arava Desert to the Dead Sea area. The afternoon is free for rest or optional float in the salty waters of the Dead Sea.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8
MASADA/EIN GEDI WATERFALLS/QUMRAN/ JERUSALEM
After breakfast we drive to the foothill of Mt. Masada. Ascend Masada by cable car. Our guide will take us on a fascinating tour of this mountain where 960 Jewish defenders organized the last resistance to the Roman Conquerors. Descend Masada and travel to Kibbutz Ein Gedi to view King David’s Waterfalls and then for a visit to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Afterwards, ascend the Judean Hills to Jerusalem, the "Eternal City of God".

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9
MT. OF OLIVES/WESTERN WALL/CARDO/UPPER ROOM/CAIAPHAS’ HOUSE & DUNGEON/ COURTYARD OF PETER’S DENIAL/GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE
After breakfast visit the Old City of Jerusalem. Jews, Christians and Moslems alike know the Biblical and historical importance of the City of Jerusalem. At the start of the morning, drive to the crest of Mt. of Olives where the entire city of Jerusalem unfolds before you.
Today’s walking tour includes: Garden of Gethsemane, Pools of Bethesda, Upper Room of the Last Supper, Ecce Homo Arch, Via Dolorosa, Western Wall, Cardo, Jewish Quarters, Caiaphas’ House & Dungeon, Courtyard of Peter’s denial and Oriental Bazaars.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 10
HILLS OF JERUSALEM/KNESSET/YAD VASHEM/ BETHLEHEM/ VIA DOLOROSA/ SOUTHERN EXCAVATIONS/CITY OF DAVID/GARDEN TOMB
After breakfast begin the day with a visit to the Model of ancient Jerusalem and the Shrine of the Book. Next we view the Knesset, (Israel’s Parliament), and then a visit to Yad Vashem, a memorial to the Six Million Jews that lost their lives in the Holocaust. Continue to Bethlehem for a visit of the Church of Nativity, Manger Square and Shepherd’s Field. Next we tour the Southern excavations of the Wailing Wall and the museum at the City of David followed by an optional walk through Hezekiah Tunnel. We end the day at the Garden Tomb where a Communion Service will be held. This evening enjoy a special Fellowship at our hotel.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11
FREE DAY/FAREWELL DINNER/TRANSFER TO AIRPORT
Breakfast in hotel. This entire day is free for rest or optional activities on your own. This evening enjoy our Farewell Dinner and say Shalom to our guide and driver. After dinner we transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our flight home. Our hotel rooms will remain available to us until departure. (B/D)
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 12
RETURN FLIGHT TO USA
Our flight home will depart Ben Gurion Airport 5 Minutes after Midnight of November 11th. We will arrive back to Chicago at around 12 PM.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
RESERVATIONS & SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS: All reservations for this tour are confirmed upon receipt of your Registration Form and a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 per person, which is due upon reservation and no later than March 1, 2010. A second non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is due May 1, 2010. Final payment is due September 1, 2010.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS & SITES: All hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy with private bath. NOTE: We will attempt to find a roommate for single travelers desiring to share a room. However, if we are unable to find a roommate, or you do not accept our selection, the single room supplement will apply. The sequence of visits to sites may change according to the discretion of the tour operator and guide if they deem necessary. In case sequence is changed, all items on the itinerary will still be covered.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: The Initial Deposit and Second Deposit are non-refundable. Final payment is fully refundable, (excluding the non-refundable deposits of $400.00 per person), until September 1, 2010. Cancellations after September 1, 2010 become non-refundable and can only be recovered through a travel insurance policy. Please note that deposits and final payments for the tour cannot be changed from one person to another. All cancellations must be made in writing to Heavenly Tours. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
UNUSED SERVICES: No refund will be available for unused touring, meals or any other program components stated in the itinerary.
PASSPORT, VISA & VACCINATIONS: Valid passport for 6 months after the tour has ended is required. No vaccinations or visa are required from U.S. Citizens. Complete Passport information as requested in the enclosed Registration Form must be submitted to Heavenly International Tours prior to September 1, 2010.
TAXES & FEES INCLUDED: Entrance fees to all sites on scheduled tours. Porterage of ONE suitcase per person is included.
FEES NOT INCLUDED: Passport Fees, Travel Insurance, meals, drinks, wines, liquors and beverages not mentioned in itinerary. Items of personal nature, such as phone calls, laundry, room service and sites other than those mentioned. Transfer to O'Hare Airport is optional and is not included in the price of the tour.
Tips to guides, drivers and hotel staff in both countries are not included, (Approximately $165.00 per person). Airport Departure Taxes, Security Fees and Fuel Surcharges, charged by airlines and Governments, are not included and will be invoiced to you with your final payment. The current rate of these fees is $365.00 per person and is subject to change. $49.00 per person Israel & Jordan Border Taxes and Jordan’s Visa.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is optional. However, we highly suggest and recommend the purchase of insurance. It is suggested that the insurance premium will be paid directly to the insurance company at the time of your initial deposit in order to cover the “Pre-existing Conditions Clause” of the insurance. AIR & LAND FARES: Air and land rates of this tour are based on current tariffs in effect for today, November 12, 2009. Flight tickets for this tour are based on NON-REFUNDABLE group airfare.
PURCHASE OF MERCHANDISE: Heavenly International Tours is not to be held responsible for any item/s purchased during the tour, not for their quality nor their prices. All and any purchase will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
METHOD OF PAYMENTS: Check or Money Order only, made payable to: Heavenly International Tours.
LUGGAGE: Each person is allowed (1) suitcase and a carry-on only, which will be handled for you throughout the tour. Maximum size of suitcase is 29” high and maximum weight is 50 Lbs.
TOUR DATES: As in any trans-Atlantic flight, tour dates may slightly change according to the requirements of the participating air carrier. Please allow yourself some flexibility. In the event dates and times of flights are changed, Heavenly International Tours will not be held responsible and refunds will not be available based on this reason.
Please note that your Passport must be valid at least 6 months after the tour has ended.
