Today we depart from Chicago's O'Hare Airport to Israel. Enjoy on-board meals and entertainment as we cross the Atlantic Ocean on our way to Israel.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6
ARRIVE IN ISRAEL / TOUR OF JAFFA / CAESAREA
Arrive in Israel. Meet a representative who will assist you through customs. Meet your guide and proceed for a short tour of Jaffa, (Joppa), to visit the location of Simon the Tanner’s House. Continue to Caesarea, once a proud Roman port city dating back to the time of Pontius Pilate. View Herod’s Palace and the monumental Roman amphitheater built in the days of Christ. From here we drive to our hotel, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. A refreshing Jaffa orange juice will be waiting for you upon arrival. (D)

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7
MT. CARMEL / MEGIDDO / NAZARETH / CANA / GALILEE
After breakfast we travel to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah held a contest against the false prophets of Baal. Next, travel to Megiddo, overlooking the plains of Armageddon and visit the site of the 21 superimposed cities. A short drive takes us to Nazareth where Jesus spent the silent years of his life. We continue to Cana, the site of Jesus’ first Miracle when He turned water to wine. From here we drive to our hotel, located by the Sea of Galilee. (B,D)

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8
MT. BEATITUDES / TABGHA / CHURCH OF PRIMACY / CAPERNAUM / BOAT RIDE-FISH LUNCH / BAPTISMAL SITE
After breakfast the first stop will be the Mt. Beatitudes. Near here Jesus gave the Beatitudes and taught on many occasions. Here he also performed many of the miracles. Travel to Tabgha, to commemorate the miracle of the multiplication of the fish and loaves to feed 5000. Nearby we will visit the Church of Primacy, where Jesus appeared to his Disciples after his resurrection. Continue to Capernaum where much of the Galilean Ministry took place. Afterwards, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and hear how Jesus calmed the stormy sea and walked upon these waters. Enjoy a traditional St. Peter’s fish lunch. We end the day at Yardenit Baptismal site on the Jordan River where time will be available for an optional baptismal service. (B,L,D)

KIBBUTZ TOUR / GOLAN/CAESAREA PHILIPPI / MOUNT OF TRANSFIGURATION / TEL DAN / KORAZIM / GADARENES
After breakfast begin the day with a tour of the Kibbutz and explore this unique way of life. From here we ascend the Golan Heights. Our guide will explain why this area is so vital to Israel’s security. Visit the sacred site of Caesarea Philippi and view Mount Hermon from a high meadow laden with wild flowers. Mount Hermon is believed to be the location where Jesus underwent his transfiguration. Not far from here is Tel Dan. The site is identified with the Biblical city of Dan, the northernmost city in the Kingdom of Israel. The Dan Nature Reserve is one of the three sources of the Jordan River. We will now descend the Golan Heights and visit Korazim and Gadarenes. (B,D)

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10
MASSADA / DEAD SEA / EIN GEDI WATERFALLS / QUMRAN / JERUSALEM
After breakfast we drive along the Jordan Valley to Masada. Ascend Masada by cable car. Your guide will take you on a fascinating tour of this mountain where 960 Jewish defenders organized the last resistance to the Roman Conquerors. Descend Masada and travel to the Dead Sea for an optional float in the salty waters. Continue to Ein Gedi to view King David’s Waterfalls and then to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Afterwards, ascend the Judean Hills to Jerusalem, the "Eternal City of God". (B,D)

After breakfast visit the Old City of Jerusalem. Jews, Christians and Moslems alike know the Biblical and historical importance of the City of Jerusalem. At the start of the morning, drive to the crest of Mt. of Olives where the entire city of Jerusalem unfolds before you. Today’s walking tour includes: Garden of Gethsemane, Pools of Bethesda, Upper Room of the Last Supper, Ecce Homo Arch, Western Wall, Cardo, Jewish Quarters, Caiaphas’ House & Dungeon and Oriental Bazaars. HILLS OF JERUSALEM / KNESSET / YAD VASHEM / COMMUNION AT THE GARDEN TOMB
After breakfast begin the day with a visit to the Model of ancient Jerusalem and the Shrine of the Book. Next we view the Knesset, (Israel’s Parliament), and then a visit to Yad Vashem, a memorial to the Six Million Jews that lost their lives in the Holocaust. Continue for a breathtaking view of Bethlehem and Shepherd’s Field. Next we drive to the Garden Tomb where a Communion Service will be held. (B,D)

RESERVATIONS & SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS: All reservations for this tour are confirmed upon receipt of your Registration Form and a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 per person, which is due upon reservation and no later than June 1, 2012. A second non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is due August 1, 2012. Final payment is due October 1, 2012.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS & SITES:
All hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy with private bath. NOTE: We will attempt to find a roommate for single travelers desiring to share a room. However, if we are unable to find a roommate, or you do not accept our selection, the single room supplement will apply. The sequence of visits to sites may change according to the discretion of the tour operator and guide if they deem necessary. In case sequence is changed, all items on the itinerary will still be covered.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: The Initial Deposit and Second Deposit are non-refundable. Final payment is fully refundable, (excluding the non-refundable deposits of $400.00 per person), until October 1, 2012. Cancellations after October 1, 2012 become non-refundable and can only be recovered through a travel insurance policy. Please note that deposits and final payments for the tour cannot be changed from one person to another. All cancellations must be made in writing to Heavenly International Tours. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
UNUSED SERVICES: No refund will be available for unused touring, meals or any other program components stated in the itinerary.
PASSPORT, VISA & VACCINATIONS: Valid passport for 6 months after the tour has ended is required. No vaccinations or visa are required from U.S. Citizens to enter Israel. A visa is required to enter Jordan. Complete Passport information as requested in the enclosed Registration Form must be submitted to Heavenly International Tours prior to October 1, 2012.
TAXES & FEES INCLUDED: Entrance fees to all sites on scheduled tours. Porterage of ONE suitcase per person is included.
FEES NOT INCLUDED: Passport Fees, Travel Insurance, meals, drinks, wines, liquors and beverages not mentioned in itinerary. Items of personal nature, such as phone calls, laundry, room service and sites other than those mentioned.

Tips to guide, driver and hotel staff are not included. Airport Departure Taxes, Security Fees and Fuel Surcharges, charged by airlines and Governments, are not included and will be invoiced to you with your final payment. TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is optional. However, we highly suggest and recommend the purchase of insurance. It is suggested that the insurance premium will be paid directly to the insurance company at the time of your initial deposit in order to cover the “Pre-existing Condition/s Clause” of the insurance. AIR & LAND FARES: Air and land rates of this tour are based on current tariffs in effect as of February 23, 2012. Flight tickets for this tour are based on NON-REFUNDABLE group airfare.

LUGGAGE: Each person is allowed (1) suitcase and a carry-on only, which will be handled for you throughout the tour. Maximum size of suitcase is 29” high and maximum weight is 50 pounds.
