DEPARTURE TO ISRAEL
Today we depart from Chicago's to Tel Aviv, Israel. Enjoy on-board meals and entertainment as we cross the Atlantic Ocean on our way to Israel.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5
ARRIVE IN ISRAEL / GALILEE
We arrive in Israel where we will be met by a representative who will assist us through customs. Drive to our hotel located by the Sea of Galilee with a short visit to Caesarea, once a proud Roman port city dating back to the time of Pontius Pilate. View the monumental Roman amphitheater built in the days of Christ. (Time permitting). A refreshing Jaffa orange juice will await you upon arrival to the hotel.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6
MT. OF BEATITUDES / TABGHA / CAPERNAUM / BOAT & FISH LUNCH / GOLAN
Breakfast in hotel. Our first stop this morning will be Mt. of Beatitudes. Near here Jesus gave the Beatitudes and taught on many occasions. Here he performed many of the miracles. We then proceed to Tabgha, where 5000 were fed by Jesus who performed the miracle of the multiplication of the fish and loaves. We continue to Capernaum, (Kfar Nahum), where much of the Galilean Ministry took place. Afterwards, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and hear how Jesus calmed the stormy sea and walked upon these water. Enjoy a St. Peter’s fish lunch on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. We will now ascend the Golan Heights to view the Hula Valley and learn why the Golan Heights are so vital for Israel’s security.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7
CANA / NAZARETH / MT. CARMEL / DRUZ VILLAGE
Breakfast in hotel. This morning we begin our tour with a visit to Cana, the site of the first miracle, where Jesus turned water to wine. Continue to Nazareth where Jesus spent the silent years of his life and visit Mary's Well. We will now drive to Mt. Carmel to visit the traditional site of Muhraqa, where Elijah held a contest against the false prophets of Ba'al. A short drive takes us to Dalyat El Carmel Druz village, where unique handcraft is on display along the streets. You may enjoy the best Falafel in Israel here. We now return to our hotel, located by the Sea of Galilee.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8
BEIT SHEAN / MASADA / DEAD SEA / JERUSALEM
Breakfast in hotel. Our tour begins with a visit to Beit Shean, often mentioned in the Bible. The bodies of Saul and his sons were hung on the city walls by the Philistines after the fateful battle on Mt. Gilboa. View the well-preserved mosaic floor and ancient ruins. From here we travel through the Jordan Valley to Masada. Ascend Masada by cable car. Your guide will explain the story of the Jewish Zealots that took their own lives rather than be sold into slavery. Afterwards, descend Masada and continue to the Dead Sea for an optional float in the salty waters. We will now ascend the Judean Hills towards the eternal city of God - Jerusalem.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9
SHRINE OF THE BOOK / MODEL / YAD VASHEM / BETHLEHEM / GARDEN TOMB
Breakfast in hotel. We begin the day with a visit to the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept. View a miniature Model of ancient Jerusalem. Continue to Yad Vashem - Memorial to the six million Jews that lost their lives in the Holocaust. From here we drive to Bethlehem and visit the Church of Nativity and Manger Square. We end the day with a visit to the Garden Tomb, where a Communion service will be held.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10
MT. OF OLIVES / GETHSEMANE / OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM
Breakfast in hotel. The Biblical and historical importance of the Old City of Jerusalem is known to Jews, Christians and Moslems alike. We begin the tour with a view of Jerusalem from the crest of Mt. of Olives.
Today's walking tour includes: The Western Wall, Cardo, the Jewish Quarters, the Room of the Last Supper, St. Ann Church, Via Dolorosa, Oriental Bazaars and the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus was arrested.

Breakfast in hotel. Today is free for leisure or for optional activities on your own. This evening we will have our Farewell Dinner and say SHALOM to our guide and driver. At around 7:30 PM we transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our flight back home. (B/D)

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
RESERVATIONS & SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS: All reservations for this tour are confirmed upon receipt of your Registration Form and a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 per person, which is due upon reservation and no later than June 1, 2012. A second non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is due June 1, 2012. Final payment is due September 15, 2012.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS & SITES:
All hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy with private bath. NOTE: We will attempt to find a roommate for single travelers desiring to share a room. However, if we are unable to find a roommate, or you do not accept our selection, the single room supplement will apply. The sequence of visits to sites may change according to the discretion of the tour operator and guide if they deem necessary. In case sequence is changed, all items on the itinerary will still be covered.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: The first deposit of $200.00 per person and the second deposit of $200.00 are non-refundable. Final payment is fully refundable, (excluding the non-refundable deposits of $400.00 per person), until September 15, 2012. Cancellations after September 15, 2012 become non-refundable and can only be recovered through a travel insurance policy. Please note that deposits and final payments for the tour cannot be changed from one person to another. All cancellations must be made in writing to Heavenly Tours. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
UNUSED SERVICES: No refund will be available for unused touring, meals or any other program components stated in the itinerary.
PASSPORT, VISA & VACCINATIONS: Valid passport for 6 months after the tour has ended is required. No vaccinations or visa are required from U.S. Citizens. Complete Passport information as requested in the enclosed Registration Form must be submitted to Heavenly International Tours prior to September 15, 2012.
TAXES & FEES INCLUDED: Entrance fees to all sites on scheduled tours. Porterage of ONE suitcase per person is included.
FEES NOT INCLUDED: Passport Fees, Travel Insurance, meals, drinks, wines, liquors and beverages not mentioned in itinerary. Items of personal nature, such as phone calls, laundry, room service and sites other than those mentioned. Transfer to O'Hare Airport is optional and is not included in the price of the tour.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES NOT INCLUDED:
Tips to guide, driver and hotel staff are not included. (Approximately $140.00 per person) Airport Departure Taxes, Security Fees and Fuel Surcharges, charged by airlines and Governments, are not included and will be invoiced to you with your final payment. The rates of the Taxes & Fees will be determined when flight tickets are issued. The current rate of Fuel Surcharge and Departure Taxes is $629.95 per person.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is optional. However, we highly suggest and recommend the purchase of insurance. It is suggested that the insurance premium will be paid directly to the insurance company at the time of your initial deposit in order to cover the “Pre-existing Condition/s Clause” of the insurance. AIR & LAND FARES: Air and land rates of this tour are based on current tariffs in effect as of January 20, 2012. Flight tickets for this tour are based on NON-REFUNDABLE group airfare. The price of the tour is based on a minimum of 20 persons traveling together.
PURCHASE OF MERCHANDISE: Heavenly International Tours is not to be held responsible for any item/s purchased during the tour, not for their quality nor their prices. All and any purchase will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
METHOD OF PAYMENTS: Check or Money Order only, made payable to: Heavenly International Tours. Credit cards are not accepted.
LUGGAGE: Each person is allowed (1) suitcase and a carry-on bag only. Your suitcase will be handled for you throughout the tour. Maximum size of suitcase is 29” high and maximum weight is 50 pounds.
TOUR DATES: As in any trans-Atlantic flight, tour dates may slightly change according to the requirements of the participating air carrier. Please allow yourself some flexibility. In the event dates and times of flights are changed, Heavenly Tours will not be held responsible and refunds will not be available based on this reason.
